The cost to each cadet is $350. This fee will fund the majority of the expenses for the year. In addition, all new team members are required to purchase a travel package ($150). This includes a JROTC Team garment bag, travel bag, black polo shirt, black t-shirt, and other items that team members wear and carry while traveling.

Daniel Boone Invitational: January 26, 2008

On Saturday, January 26, 2008 the Parkview MCJROTC competed in Gray, TN.

Our drill team competed against 20 other Junior ROTC Drill Teams representing all four service programs in the Daniel Boone High School 2008 Invitational Drill Meet. Our drill team earned Second Place in Inspection (missing first place by one and one-half points) and tied for second place in Unarmed Squad.

Gwinnett Commissiones Cup Drill Competition: November 3, 2007

On Saturday, November 3, 2007 the Parkview MCJROTC competed in Lawrenceville, GA.

Our drill team earned First Place in Inspection, Armed and Unarmed and tied for first place in Color Guard. The Drill Team place first overall and earned the 2007 Commissioners Cup.

Asheville, N.C. Drill Competition: September 29, 2007

On Saturday, September 29, 2007 the Parkview MCJROTC competed in Asheville, N.C..

Our drill team earned Third Place in Female Color Guard, Platoon Female and First Year Platoon Unarmed. The following Cadets finished in the top ten in Knockout Unarmed: Jiwani and Bass. The following Cadets finished in the top ten in Knockout Armed: Kelly, Stokes, Hall and Jackson. Congratulations to all!

J.O. Johnson Drill Competition: February 24, 2007

On Saturday, February 24, 2007 the Parkview MCJROTC competed in Huntsville, Alabama.

Our drill team earned First Place in Platoon Unarmed, First Place in Personnel Inspection, Third Place in Physical Fitness and Second Place overall.

Daniel Boone Invitational Drill Meet: January 26, 2007

On Saturday, January 26, 2007 The Parkview MCJROTC competed in Gray Tennessee.

Our drill team competed against 24 other Junior ROTC Drill Teams representing all four service programs in the Daniel Boone High School 2007 Invitational Drill Meet. In the eight drill disciplines entered, the Drill Team placed in the top three in six of them with two first place, two second place, and two third place finishes. They earned the distinction of being the Outstanding Marine Corps Junior ROTC school in the competition and received a third place trophy for their overall performance.

Asheville Drill Competition: December 8-9, 2006

On Saturday, December 9 the Parkview MCJROTC competed in Asheville, North Carolina.

Our drill team competed against drill teams from Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The Cadets took home trophies for first place in LE 1 Unarmed Squad and third place in Female Color Guard.

Christmas Parade and Toys for Tots December 2, 2006

On Saturday, December 2, 2006 the Parkview JCJROTC participated in the Christmas Parade in Old Town Lilburn.

Our Color Guard and Drill Team Lead the Parade and then visited Flowers Crossing at the Mill where they collected hundreds of toys donated by residents of the neighborhood for the Toys for Tots. We would like to thank Scott Scoggins for organizing the collection and the residents of the neighborhood for their generous donations.


Commissioners Cup Drill Competition, November 4, 2006

On Saturday, November 4, 2006 the Parkview JCJROTC competed in the Fourth Annual Commissioners Cup Drill Competition at the Gwinnett County Justice and Administration Center.

Our drill team competed against the drill teams from Duluth High School, North Gwinnett High School, and Shiloh High School. Parkview won first place in three events: Armed and Unarmed Drill as well as Inspection. Lt. Col. Benjamin E. Sartain spoke to the Cadets about the importance of JROTC and stressed the need for our nation’s best and brightest to serve in the military.
